The supporters of this initiative think it would be much more efficient if the taxpayers would give us the $26,000,000.00 without us having to explain why. It's only $26,000,000.00 and the explaining just takes so loooonnnngggg.
Come on, give it a shot.
Well, you get some signs pointing to the historical museum.
Oh, and it will prompt so many people to walk over to Lee Street and spend so much money at 915 Skate Shop, Beef Burger and Little John's Tattoo that the 2.5% local share of sales tax collected on increased activity will exceed $26,000,000.00 in a matter of hours.
